BASIC KNOWLEDGE
The pipe conveyor can be divided into flat type and slot type according to its section. The follow-up developed pipe conveyor is called as a special type, including zipper belt conveyor, sandwich belt conveyor, belt-pressured conveyor, curved belt conveyor, pipe conveyor, etc.
Pipe conveyors can realize transportation horizontally, as well as upwards or downwards at a certain inclination.
Pipe conveyors can be divided into mobile type and fixed type according to different installation methods at the site. The mobile pipe conveyor is equipped with a mobile height adjuster which is convenient for working positions and conveying heights changing. The support device and the base of the fixed pipe conveyor are fixedly installed on the foundation.
The pipe conveyor mainly consists of conveyor belts, supporting devices, driving devices, tensioning devices, feeding and discharging devices, etc.
The driving devices for various pipe conveyors include electric motors, speed reducers, drive rollers, control devices and safety devices.
How Do Tracked Radial Stacker Work?
The operation of a radial tracked stacker involves several key steps:
Loading materials
The materials are first loaded into the feed port of the starting point through the loading equipment. This can be a loading hopper, a hopper or other loading device, depending on the specific application needs.
Feed section
The feed section where the material enters the pipeline. The feed section is usually an inclined pipe, through the design of the inclined angle, the material can flow downward naturally.
Conveying section
The material is propelled in the conveying section of the pipeline. The delivery section consists of a series of pipe sections that are joined together by special connectors. In the conveying section, the material is pushed by compressed gas or liquid to make it advance along the pipeline.
Discharge section
When the material reaches the end point, it is released through the discharge section. The discharge section is usually an inclined pipe, and the material can flow out naturally.
