Introduction
A tubular Belt conveyor is an advanced material handling equipment specifically designed for the mining industry.It is a conveyor system that uses a belt formed into a tubular shape during operation. Application
Ore transportation
In open - pit mines, it transports ores like iron, copper, and gold from the mining area to processing plants or stockpiles over long distances and uneven terrains. In underground mines, it moves ores from mining levels to the surface through narrow tunnels and shafts.
Coal mining
In surface coal mines, it moves mined coal to preparation plants or loading areas, preventing coal dust spread and coal loss. In underground coal mines, it transports coal from working faces to shafts, reducing the risk of coal - dust - related explosions.

The tubular Belt conveyor is formed into a tube shape by the action of a series of rollers during operation. On both edges of the belt there is a special structural design, usually an edge section with a certain curvature. These rollers gradually guide the conveyor belt from a flat state to a tube shape as the belt passes around a specially arranged set of rollers. As the belt enters the tube-forming area, it first passes through a number of transition rollers, which are spaced and shaped so that the edges of the belt begin to curve upwards. Then, it passes through a set of inner rollers which surround the interior of the belt, supporting the belt and inducing it to fully form a tube. The arrangement and spacing of the inner rollers is critical to maintaining the stability of the tubular shape, and is generally designed based on the width of the belt, the weight of the material being conveyed, and other factors. |
