Materials and processes of longitudinal beams

The material of longitudinal beams is usually low-alloy steel, and some are directly formed by stamping channel steel. There are generally two types of processing procedures, namely machining holes before forming or forming holes before machining.
For shearing type material dropping, longitudinal cutting machines and shearing machines can be used to complete it; If it is a drop type, a large press machine should be used to complete it.
There are single-sided bending and double-sided bending types for molding. The single-sided bending type is completed using a large bending machine; The double-sided bending type is completed using a large press machine.
There are multiple methods to choose from for hole processing, and there are usually three methods for hole processing on flat plates: a, Drilling type: All holes are completed by several rocker arm drilling machines or by large CNC drilling machines (several plates can be stacked together for drilling); b, Punching+drilling type: All holes on the main beam and the web holes of the reinforced beam are completed by a CNC punching press; After forming, drill the wing plate holes of the reinforcing beam based on the wing plate holes of the main beam (the coincidence position accuracy of the holes on the main beam and the reinforcing beam is high); c, Punching type: All holes are completed by a CNC punching press. There are usually three methods for machining holes on U-shaped beams: a, Drilling type: All holes are completed by a three sided CNC drilling production line or a workpiece rotary single-sided CNC drilling production line; b, Punching+drilling type: The web plate holes are completed by a punching CNC production line, and the wing plate holes are completed by a double-sided drilling CNC production line (with fewer wing plate holes); c, Punching type: All holes are completed by a CNC production line composed of several punching presses.
The bending process is usually completed by large press machines or by specialized CNC bending machines.
