An idler gear refers to a gear that is sandwiched between two gears and meshes with both gears. Its function is only to change the rotational direction relationship between the front and rear gears, without changing the transmission ratio or position.
Tensioning wheels appear in belt or chain drives, and their function is to tension the belt or chain, reduce their vibration and energy loss during movement, and change their position.
As the name suggests, the guide wheel mainly plays a guiding role. In the design of the wheel system, in order to meet the design requirements and external dimensions, the direction of the belt is relatively complex. However, to ensure the design of the idler pulley, tensioner pulley, and belt pulley, the guide wheel needs to meet the design requirements and the design angle.
